Security Technologies and Multi-Screen Management for Military
Command Centers
The security and sealing of computer networks represent the major challenge of a control room. In modern command centers, an architectural principle is almost systematically imposed: the central units (computers) are never found on the operators' desks.
Relocation of Machines and Strategic Advantages
All the central units, servers, and storage bays are relegated to a highly protected machine room (local Data Center or communication node). This architecture provides 4 critical benefits.
Access Security
No physical USB port is accessible on the desk, preventing the introduction of malicious keys
Electromagnetic Protection
The machine rooms are shielded to prevent the interception of processor emissions by external enemy sensors.
TEMPEST Standard
Thermal and Acoustic Management
The noise and heat from the servers are confined in a dedicated space cooled between 18 and 20°C, leaving the operations room silent.
Transparent Maintenance
A malfunctioning computer is replaced in the computer bay in a few seconds by technicians, without disturbing the operator on duty.

KVM Technology and Multi-Screen Management
Pour relier les postes opérateurs aux serveurs distants sans aucune latence, les armées s’appuient sur la technologie KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse). A compact receiver unit is placed under the desk, routing signals via RJ45 or fiber optic.
To manage strict isolation between networks (e.g.: Defense Secret, Restricted Broadcast, and public Internet), isolating KVM Switches.

The Security Criteria of a Military KVM
The "Air Gap" Electronic
No electrical or logical connection
is shared between the circuits of different networks within the
unit. Data diodes (Data Diodes) physically
prohibit any return flow from the computer to the keyboard.
Anti-Breach Protection
In case of physical opening of the KVM unit, it instantly erases its encryption keys and self-destructs
Copy-Paste Prohibition
The clipboard is physically blocked between networks to prevent the leakage of information.
Zero Storage & Unidirectional Audio
No cache memory (anti-keylogging) and blocking of microphones against eavesdropping.
Advanced User Comfort
Thanks to technologies of Mouse Roaming (Free-flow), the operator switches network or computer simply by sliding his mouse from one screen to another. To eliminate any human error, a bright LED border (e.g.: red for the Secret network) lights up instantly around the active screen.
